Getting Started
Your first sign-in, start to finish. What to copy from your welcome email, where the login server goes, and how to set your own password.
Start here →Sending a Fax
Two ways to send a fax from your computer — print straight to the fax printer, or send it from inside the app. Plus where received faxes land.
Read the guide →Checking Voicemail
Dial *123 from the keypad, or open the Voicemail window to play, save, call back, and file your messages.

Two things worth having open
Your welcome email
When your account was created we sent an email with the subject “Welcome to BoomTalk!”. It carries your extension, your email address, a temporary password, your voicemail PIN, and your login server address. Almost every guide here asks you to copy something from it, so keep it handy — or find it before you begin.
The BoomTalk app
These guides cover the desktop app on Windows and Mac. If it isn't installed yet, your administrator handles that part — the guides pick up from the moment the icon appears on your desktop.
Still stuck?
Talk to a person
If a guide doesn't cover it, your system administrator is the fastest route — they manage your extensions and can reset anything account-related. For everything else, the team that runs the platform is a phone call away.
