Step 2
Sign in for the first time
How you sign in depends on the device. Both routes use the same “Welcome to BoomTalk!” email — keep it open.
On your phone or tablet
Open the app and choose to scan a QR code, then point the camera at the code in your welcome email. That's the whole sign-in — no typing.
On Mac or Windows
The desktop app walks you through a short setup wizard the first time you open it. You'll need your email, password, and the login server from your welcome email, and you'll be asked to set a password of your own.
